A range of reasonably priced and simple to build plastic resin kits, which give good results and for the most part are designed to fit onto commercially produced and readily available chassis, the use of these mass produced items ensures economic, good running and attractive models for all in this copact but larger and enjoyable scale.

Please note that many of these kits may be used 'as is' or adapted for use on: 1:24, 1:32, 1:35, 9.5mm and 10mm to 1ft. scales.
Locomotive Body Kits
The first five kits fit onto Hornby 'Smokey Joe' and similar Hornby 0-4-0T locamotive mechanisms with the minimum of modification; when sourcing a mechanism make sure it is 'Made in China' as the 'Made in Great Britain' mechs. were often fitted with slot car motors and operate accordingly. The Chinese made chassis are very much more controllable at slower speeds.
Some castings of these kits are loaded with lead shot to give added weight. Locamotive kits have brass reinforcing wire cast into the foot plate to aid rigidity. All kits are cast in Urethane resin and are complete except for paint and glue.
Dimensions are of the finished kits fitted with the recommended chassis where required, but excluding couplings. Dimensions are Length - Width - Height and are given in millimetres.

This material is pressed form 0.1mm aluminium sheet. It is possible to etch the material with Ferric Cloride soloutin to produce corroded sheet ends using Maskol to obtain the effect required
