Gn15 Scale Model Railways
This scale is of American origin. It represents a scale of 1/2 inch to 1 foot - 1/24 - with models running on H0/00 gauge track. The track gauge of 16.5mm represents a scale 15 inches, this is the original Heywood 'Minimum Gauge Railway' track size and is today used by many of the larger miniature passenger carrying railways, such as the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch and the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railways.

'NELLIE' Locomotive Body Kit £55.00
The kit is complete except for paint, transfers and glue. The main body parts are cast in Polyurethane resin and the kit is designed to fit either the Hornby 'Bill' or 'Ben' chassis with no modification or the Hornby 'Smokey Joe' chassis with minimal modification. Please specify for which chassis the model is to fit. L. 145mm, W. 46mm, H. 185mm.

This material is pressed from 0.1mm aluminium sheet. It is possible to etch with Ferric Cloride soloution to produce corroded sheet ends using Maskol to obtain the effect required. Note: Ferric Cloriden is corrosive and must be used with the necessary precautions.
